With RMS credits you manage your Teltonika routers and gateways remotely: keep an eye on status, install firmware, roll out configurations and, when something fails, access the device directly — even when it sits behind a mobile connection without a public IP address. One credit covers one device for 30 days. You buy exactly as much as you actually need and tie yourself to no term. For anyone running more than a handful of devices, this is the difference between “drive out and look” and “look”.
- 1 deviceper credit
- 30 daysterm per credit
- freely distributableacross any device in the account
- no termno subscription, no cancellation
What RMS takes off your hands
- Remote access without a public IP: the biggest practical gain. Mobile connections almost always sit behind carrier NAT — without RMS you simply cannot reach the device from outside. Via RMS you still get to the web interface and the command line.
- Firmware for many devices at once: updates can be rolled out on a schedule and in groups instead of touching every device individually. When there is a security hole, that is exactly what counts.
- Configuration as a template: set up cleanly once, transferred to any number of devices — that saves half the work on every expansion and prevents the small deviations nobody can trace later.
- Monitoring and alerting: availability, signal quality, data usage and location in view, with notification when a device drops out. You hear about the outage before the customer calls.
- As needed rather than flat rate: credits are not lost when distributed — you can give one device a year or twelve devices a month each. Seasonal installations are paid for only while they run.
When credits pay off
- Distributed sites: branches, construction sites, photovoltaic installations, pumping stations — anywhere a site visit costs more than the management fee.
- Replacement for maintenance contracts: anyone looking after customers resolves a large share of faults remotely instead of sending a technician.
- Test and pilot installations: manage a device remotely for a few months without committing to a multi-year licence.
- Rollouts with a growing device count: buy credits as devices are added — no renegotiation, no contract amendment.
- Emergency access: a single credit is enough to make a device reachable for a month and fix a problem.
How billing works
The arithmetic is deliberately simple: one credit equals one device for 30 days. Twelve credits therefore cover one device for a year, two devices for half a year, or twelve devices for a month. You make the allocation yourself in the RMS portal and can change it at any time as your fleet shifts. If you order several credits, simply put the quantity you want in the basket.
So that we can credit your account, we need the e-mail address of your RMS account. The simplest way is to give it to us directly with the order in the notes field — then there is no need for us to ask.
Help with planning
Not sure how many credits your fleet needs, or whether a multi-year licence would be better in your case? Give us the device count and the planned period — we will work through the options before you order. For sizing, pre-configuration and commissioning we will gladly put together a quote.
